What is Cerro Tronador y Ventisquero Negro?
Cerro Tronador (Tronador Hill) is one of the biggest mountains in Patagonia, Argentina. It is in fact an extinct volcano that hosts a total of seven glaciers.
Ventisquero negro is a glacier that has been tinted black by sediments from nearby volcano eruptions such as Chile’s Copahue volcano eruption in 2012.

Is transportation included?
Yes. If you are staying in or around the centre of Bariloche, our buses will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel.

We will pick you up between 08:30 and 09:00 AM.

What time does this tour finish?
It finishes between 05:30 and 06:00 PM.
Is lunch included?
No, lunch is not included. However, we will make a stop at a mountain hut that offers local food.
I have children with me, can I bring them?
Yes. This activity is for all ages.
I have children with me, do they pay the same fare as adults?
No. Children between 0 and 2 do not pay any fare. Children between 3 and 9 pay child fare.
There is someone with limited mobility in my group, can they take part in this activity?
Unfortunately, our buses do not have the required accessibility for people in wheelchairs.

There are only 16 places available per day. The tour is available every day in the morning.
National Park entrance fee is not included. The entrance fee is paid at the park entrance station upon arrival.
