What is Train at the End of the World and Tierra del Fuego National Park?

The Train at the End of the World was a train that, in the 19th century, local prisoners used to bring stones and firewood from the woods. In the Tierra del Fuego National Park, you will discover what the end of the world looks like.

You will have the opportunity to get on the Train at the End of the World and understand its historical importance. Along the way, you will visit La Macarena waterfall.

You will see the vestiges of the Yámana culture. These primitive local communities wore only some few pelts despite Tierra del Fuego low temperatures.

Is transportation included?

Yes. If you are staying in or around the centre of Ushuaia, our buses will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel. 

What time are they going to pick me up at the hotel?

You can choose one of these options:

In the morning, we will pick you up between 09:30 and 10:00 AM.

At noon, we will pick you up between 12:00 and 12:30 AM.

In the afternoon, we will pick you up between 03:00 and 03:30 PM.

Please, wait for the bus at your hotel lobby, at the above-mentioned time.

What is the duration of the activity?

This activity has an average duration of 5 hours.

Is lunch included?

No, lunch is not included. However, you can buy some food for the trip at the train station.

I have children with me, can I bring them?

Yes. This activity is for all ages.

I have children with me, do they pay the same fare as adults?

No. Children between 0 and 3 do not pay any fare. Children between 4 and 12 pay child fare.

There is someone with limited mobility in my group, can they take part in this activity?

Unfortunately, our buses do not have the required accessibility for people in wheelchairs.
